Spring Continues!

If and when you travel to Las Vegas, you must visit, Table 10, in the Palazzo. I have very rarely had such a wonderful meal. The only comparison I can come up with is Commander’s Palace in New Orleans (Not the one in Vegas).

I am home, but for less than 48 hours. I am taking the kids to Utah to learn to ski. I am very fortunate to have great friends who live a few minutes from Snowbird, and so for their spring break, my children will learn to snow ski. A friend of mine came back from Vegas with me today. She is very close to my kids and wanted to spend some time with them. So tomorrow she is going to help me out with the kids so I can get everything ready for our drive up to Utah. The kids are so excited the can hardly stand it, and I am so excited to see them I can hardly stand it.

I met my ex husband running some errands at Barnes and Noble to pick up the kids when I got back to town, and I could bask in those beautiful hugs for the rest of my days. It truly is like the movies when your kids run to you with arms outstretched and ready to hug. We spent the evening getting some clothes out and ready for packing. Following the preparations we could make this evening we decided to take the kids to a movie we thought everyone would enjoy. I enjoyed it soooooo much. We saw the movie, “Mirror Mirror” If you don’t already know, this is the story of Snow White and yet in this version the princess saves herself.

It is perfect for my moment in life. I have the desire to save myself. While in Vegas I talked to lots of the shops in the Bellagio about the process for getting my jewelry in the Bellagio shops. So I am going to try to get into some truck shows in Vegas within the year. Hopefully you will be able to purchase my creations in Vegas someday. I suggest getting them now, as the price will probably rise once I make it onto the casino-shopping scene! ☺

I am so excited for the new experience with my children. My dad took me to learn how to ski when I was six, and it is something I have enjoyed and continued to enjoy throughout my life. I hope to give this same opportunity to my kids. Keep your fingers crossed. Onto the slopes they will go! ☺
