Over Thinking God?

I talk with my sisters about my beliefs and search often. Thank Goodness, because I have been so busy lately trying to get this business off the ground, I haven’t had much time to sit, read, meditate and think about my spiritual journey. I actually woke up last night at 4:30 and my mind was running about pearls. I finally meditated in order to fall back asleep.
I had an interesting and long comment on my last post, and because I love a discussion here goes. This commenter argues that I may be intellectualizing God too much. Her belief is that we are simply to Love period, end of story. I get what she is saying. When you really do Get It so to speak the whole thing becomes much more simple. Life becomes more simple. Love becomes more simple, and you really understand I AM. I think this lady, Get’s It. It is very simple, but here is where you run into the problem. It is so simple, that the ability to describe the simplicity escapes us. Entire world religions have been built in an attempt to describe the simplicity. Entire books have been written to describe the simplicity, and entire lives have been spent trying to preach the simplicity.
I am an intellectual, and I like using my mind. I think often and mull things over, and it is the description of the simplicity I seek. And, of course, more God always more God! Yet, I am beginning to see the simpleness of the circle, and the simplicity of not needing to seek, because He is right here. He is right in me, for I am never alone.
Yet, how can I explain this to someone who doesn’t Get It? How do you show the way, the simple way, the way of love? The only answer I can come up with is, you show, because that is the only way that works. You live, and you love. You face your battles, and you still smile. You realize that even in hardship you can choose to be happy and thankful. You treat others as if God is with them and in them, because He is as He is in you.
So simple, and yet so hard! And that is God, So big, and yet so small.
Feel free to comment. I love the discussion.
Happy Loving and Sitting! ☺
