What do I mean when I say “LOVE can sit anywhere”? I will try to explain. Jesus was love made man, and he calls us to be the same. Most people today see love as a mere feeling subject to the waxes and wanes of life. LOVE is so much more. We can actually be love in human form as Jesus was. The bible passage states it so clearly in Corinthians “Love is patient, Love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” Love can be a person, once it was. Love is a noun and a verb. Love requires action. Sometimes the action required is just to be Love where Love does not yet exist. Love is not merely a feeling.

Some of the popular prechers today tell us to surround ourselves with like minded Christian people. This is supposed to keep us out of trouble, maybe keep us from sinning, but it is a lie. To clarify here, I am not saying hang out with people making wrong decisions and make those same wrong decisions, but I am saying love can be anywhere. Jesus was anywhere, he didn’t merely serve specific parts of society. He came to serve everyone, especially the last, the least, and the ones who knew the least about love in their lives. We can show that love, we can be that love. The next time you are sitting in a place of hate. Don’t give in and begin to hate. Sit and remind yourself, that you want to be love, pray to be love, pray to act with love. Sit and be and radiate love. We will all be in situations that we cannot run from or escape where we are surrounded by haters, I can remember a time when I was in a situation that I couldn’t escape, I felt the lies and believed at the time there was much hatred in the room.  I have come to realize, it doesn’t matter. All that matters for the individual, is to be love, and to radiate love. We can’t change others by avoiding, or running. We can’t change others by screaming, begging or pleading. We may have an effect on others if we live as an example and act as Love.
